Mining as an industry is an engineering masterpiece but at what cost?

Mining is a very huge industry in fact it could be one of the most essential industry that each nation needs. In that regards we can say that a country with a very successful mining industry is also rich because the minerals, elements and ores found in the mines is what shapes the global economy. For one reason the fuel needed to run the generators in electric companies are mined. The coal, oil and uranium ore for the nuclear power plant are all mind. Oil to run our vehicles are also mined or digged from it’s source, the same with coal which is used by some parts of the world to run an electric generator. Then there we have precious and valuable metals like gold and silver which are used to make money which is what every nation and people needs. Then there are other raw materials or elements like salt, yes salt are also mined in some parts of the world and not just processed sea water which is an entirely different salt. Iron and other metals used for almost everything from construction to travel and even power or electricity distribution.

Now we see how important mining is to shape a nation or the whole world but also excessive mining operations causes permanent environmental damage and this has been a real problem today. Mining industry is both a blessing and a curse.
